Senator Erin Maye Quade called the meeting to order at 3:04pm.

Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board Presentation

The following individuals testified the Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board Presentation: 1. Leah Solo, Executive Director of the Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board; Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry

S.F. 2480: Senator Pappas: Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board rule establishing nursing home minimum wage standards affecting medical assistance reimbursement rates effecting provision.

The following individuals testified on S.F.2480: 1. Teresa Brees, member; SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa 2. Matt Jenson, member, AFSCME (worker at Sanford Bemidji) 3. Erin Huppert; Long-Term Care Imperative 4. Kyle Berndt; Long-Term Care Imperative Senator Rasmusson moved that the A-1 amendment be adopted to SF 2480. MOTION FAILED Senator Rasmusson moved that the A-2 amendment be adopted to SF 2480. MOTION FAILED

Senator Rasmusson moved that S.F. 2480, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 855: Senator Abeler: Temporary nursing facility rate increases establishment.

Senator Abeler moved that S.F. 855, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1725: Senator Hoffman: Elderly waiver rates and nursing facility reimbursement rates modification.

Senator Hoffman moved that S.F. 1725, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 2630: Senator Hoffman: Governor's Council on an Age-Friendly Minnesota conversion into the Age-Friendly Minnesota Council, codifying existing grants, and appropriation.

Senator Hoffman moved that S.F. 2630, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 2537: Senator Rasmusson: Assisted living facilities and services modifications.

Senator Rasmusson moved that the A-1 amendment be adopted to SF 2537. MOTION ADOPTED The following individuals testified on S.F.2537: 1. Senator Rasmusson moved that S.F. 2537, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 2628: Senator Rasmusson: County cost modification of care provisions.
