The Journal of the Senate is a record of Senate floor proceedings.
Daily session journals are generally published on the web the day following
adjournment for each session day.
Beginning in 2025, a legislative day is counted
when either house of the legislature gives any bill a third reading,
adopts a rule of procedure or organization, elects a university regent,
confirms a gubernatorial appointment, or votes to override a gubernatorial veto.
At the end of each calendar year the contents of the daily session journals are
compiled to create a published collection referred to as the permanent journal.
