Section 1. Information Required. Requires that public comments need to be included in a proposal given to the commissioner by a school board to construct, expand, or remodel a facility that requires a review and comment.
Section 2. Public Input. Requires that school boards proposing to construct, expand, or remodel a facility that requires a review and comment must inform school district residents of the proposal and that the written comments may be submitted to the board.
Section 3. Review of Proposals. Requires the commissioner to explain the reasons for the proposal’s advisability. Requires the commissioner to include a summary of the comments from residents of the school district in the review and comment.
