Section 1 (section 43A.17, subdivision 9) caps the salary of persons employed by a political subdivision at $200,000. Current law caps the salary at 110 percent of the Governor’s salary.
Section 2 (section 43A.17, subdivision 11) is under the jurisdiction of the State Government Committee, as it modifies severance pay for certain state employees.
