S.F. No. 2565 permits the commissioner of education to increase the amount of early childhood education scholarships for children attending programs with a four-star Parent Aware rating. It also appropriates funds to supplement existing federal R.E.E.T.A.I.N. grant funding, to supplement existing federal child development associate credential award funding, and to fund the cost of printing copies of the Minnesota early childhood indicators of progress for providers and educators participating in training on the early childhood indicators of progress.
