Section 1. Rental income; appropriation. Requires all rental income earned by the Minnesota State Academies be deposited into a special revenue fund. Money in the account is annually appropriated to the Minnesota State Academies for staff development purposes. Under current law, the portion of rental income earned by the Minnesota State Academies for leasing land and living residences is deposited into the general fund and is not dedicated for a specific purpose.
Effective Date. Makes the section effective the day following final enactment.
