Section 1 (136A.87) amends the section of law that requires the Office of Higher Education (OHE) to provide planning information for postsecondary education beginning in 7th grade, by adding that OHE provide that information for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Section 2 appropriates $2,375,000 per year of the biennium from the general fund to OHE for grants to Minnesota Independence College and Community for tuition reduction and institutional support.
