|
S.F. No. 2012 establishes a task force to evaluate and research community competency restoration programs, beginning no later than August 1, 2019, to propose recommendations to the legislature to improve the services, resources, and diversionary programs to address the growing number of individuals deemed incompetent to stand trial. The task force must submit a report of its recommendations to the legislative committees with jurisdiction over mental health and corrections by February 1, 2020.
