S.F. No. 2024 appropriates $375,000 per year from the general fund to the Commissioner of Higher Education for immediate transfer to College Possible to support programs for low-income students related to college admission and graduation. To the extent possible, the funds must be proportionally allocated between students from greater Minnesota and students in the seven-county metropolitan area. The funds must be used for Minnesota residents and students attending colleges or universities in Minnesota. Requires an annual report to relevant legislative committees regarding the expansion of College Possible.
