This bill requires the commissioner of revenue to publish and separately state all tax rates applicable in a nine-digit zip code using software approved by the governing board of the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement (SSUTA). The bill also requires the commissioner to notify sellers of all changes to local tax rates in a nine digit zip code at least 30 days before the changes are effective. The notice must include the changes to any local taxes and separately state each change. Effective for sales and purchases made after June 30, 2019.
