S.F. No. 325 continues an expiring appropriation from the general fund to the Commissioner of Human Services for a grant to Advocating Change Together (A.C.T.), a statewide network of self-advocates with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A.C.T. received a onetime appropriation in 2017 and 2018 to expand its preexisting mission to include the activities listed in paragraph (a), as well as subgrants to other organizations for peer-to-peer outreach to people working and living in institutional settings.
