1.1Senator Rarick moved to amend Senate Resolution No. 15 as follows (...):
1.2Page 2, after line 9, insert:
1.3"WHEREAS, Feeding Our Future engaged in the nation's largest COVID-era fraud
1.4scheme in Minnesota; and
1.5WHEREAS, the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme has led to the federal convictions of
1.6at least 45 people to date for their actions to steal $250 million and spend it on luxury cars,
1.7vacations, and expensive properties around the world; and
1.8WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Education was found to have failed to
1.9adequately investigate complaints regarding Feeding Our Future and allowing the fraud to
1.10continue year after year; and"
1.11Page 2, after line 12, insert:
1.12"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the actions of Governor Tim Walz's administration
1.13that allowed the fraud be condemned, and the federal convictions of all those who committed
1.14the crimes, should be ineligible for future pardons by any Governor or President."
