S.F. No. 3146 allows Plymouth and Maple Grove to request that Hennepin County remit to the city half of the transportation sales and use tax collected in the city. The city must use the proceeds to plan, engineer, and construct improvements to county highways and bridges in the city. The cities may enter into a joint powers agreement to complete work in the cities.
