SF No. 318  establishes a working group to study the shortage of direct-care personnel to provide home care nursing.

Paragraph (a) establishes the working group and specifies the membership of the working group.

Paragraph (b) requires the commissioner of health to convene the working group and provide administrative support; requires the Departments of Health and Human Services to provide technical assistance and data; requires the Home Care and Assisted Living Advisory Council to provide advice and recommendations; and specifies that working group members serve without compensation.

Paragraph (c) specifies the working group's duties, which include issuing a report to the legislature that includes draft legislation.
