S.F. 1135 makes changes to Ramsey County’s human resources statutes.

Section 1. Subdivision 3. Term of Eligibility. Strikes the requirement that the term for remaining on a list of eligible applicants for Ramsey County employment be at least six months and leaves it at the discretion of the director of human resources.

Section 2. Revisor’s Instruction. Directs the Revisor to change the term “personnel department” and similar phrases in the Ramsey County chapter to “human resources department” and similar phrases.

Section 3. Repealer. Repeals a provision in Ramsey County’s law that requires employees to retire upon reaching the age of 70.

Effective Date. This bill is effective upon filing of local approval with the Secretary of State.
