Section 1 [Expanded Public Access to Legislative Records and Meetings; Study and Recommendations] requires the Legislative Commission on Data Practices and Personal Data Privacy to recommend options for expanding public access to legislative records and meetings.
This section sets requirements for the recommendations and lists topics that the commissioner should consider in developing the recommendations, including laws, rules, custom, and practice; experience of other legislatures; benefits and risks to the legislative process and to members of the public of expanded public access; and impact on the administrative operations of the legislature.
