SF 897 creates a supplemental state appropriation for state priorities under the National Family Caregiver Support Programming. The supplemental state funding will be distributed to area agencies on aging in the same manner as federal funds, but the state funds will be used for services for caregivers of persons living with Alzheimer’s or related dementia.
