S.F. No. 664 provides ongoing grant funding of $143,000 annually for training, outreach, and operating expenses for self-advocacy organizations governed by people with development and intellectual disabilities, as well as additional funding of $105,000 annually to these organizations for sub-grants to organizations providing peer-led training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities who are living and working in institutional settings in order to help them better understand community-based service options.
